My condolences to t he family and friends of Margaret "Cookie" Bush. I am so sorry for your loss. Margaret was a wonderful and kind person.  I truly miss her.  I remember  Margaret as a person who was so good to me. She will be remembered by family and friends who loved and cherished her.

Wow, I haven't been on here for some time.  I can't express the emotional roller coaster I boarded as I looked at the pictures. It instantly gave me the pain that I felt 2 years ago.  Well your birthday is coming up and I wish you were here in body, but the memories I have in my heart will have to do.  I love and miss you very much mommy.

The memories we shared growing up in Longview were priceless. We met in the first grade in mrs Garrett's room, you became my BF. In the 5th grade we became ballerinas, I was looking at our pictures in our pink tutu we looked so cute, At our 50th class reunion in september, i was telling everyone that we were
Ballerinas no one believe me, wish you were there to back me up. In the 9th grade we became 
Musicians, the famous french horn players in band. It is so nlce to have memories, you can tap them anytime. I will always remember the good times as if they were here today, memories are precious.

Wow! It's hard to believe it has been a year since we said our goodbyes.  It still hurts.  When I think about you I still cry just as hard as I did when you took your last breath.  I didn't think that the next 2 days would be easy, but I did think it would hurt far less than it does.  I Miss You Mommy, My Angel!

Welp Mommy, heading back to Los Angeles to attend a good friends funeral. It's hard coming back and forth to L.A knowing that you are not there waiting to spend time with me.  One thing for sure, time is easing the pain away.  I'll never stop missing you or loving you, but I am certain that I will stop grieving you with the love and help of God.  Just know we are doing fine and missing you as well!

How interesting life is. Watching TV this morning, the name of a former work associate came to mind. Then Margaret "Cookie" came into my spirit. Thank God for the internet. I googled her by image and well here I am.  I was blessed to have work with Margaret many years ago at Home Savings when I was just a young teller starting out. 

Cookie was a warm, caring person who could give you the shirt off her back and a piece of her mind at the same time. I lived nearby her in Palms and would often carpool with her to work. It was not unusual to receive an invite to her home on any given weekend for a party or get together. 
She was a great supervisor who through her training and care enabled many of us (especially Black Folk) to continue our career to bigger and better opportunities. She was a positive role model. I have never forgotten her.

The last time I saw her was when she lived om 104th (I think) in Inglewood. Yes that was eons ago!
 Although I couldn't be at her homegoing, I hope that my words will be added to her legacy.

LaShone, you always were the light of her life. My prayers and sympathy are with you and your family. May God Bless and Keep you.

Hi Mommy, I spent 2 days in Monterey to help me get back to me. Seems it didn't work. I miss you more than words can express. Mommy, your baby girl is having a hard time flying with 1 wing.

Hey auntie cookie I miss u so much there not a day that Dnt go by u always on my mind.Evernite I just want to pick up my phone and call u..I'm going to miss that the most talking to u every nite... But I knw u in a better place where's there no pain no sickness...U was more then just my auntie my best friend cause when I couldn't talk to anyone u was there u lesson to me and never judge me on whatever I was going throw....what I would give just to have one more day with u to feel ur touch ur kiss on my forhead and to see u smile.....I love u aunt cookie u will always be in my heart...Ur little piglet..
