Robert Anthony Durant, Jr.

Robert Anthony Durant, Jr. Affectionately known as “Lil Rob” was born on November 18, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York to Dawn Anita Ferguson & Robert A. Durant Sr. Robert was the eldest of four siblings. In 1978 at the age of 4yrs old, Robert along with his family moved to Los Angeles, California.

Robert attended St. Paul Elementary School for his primary years. He later attended and graduated from Daniel Murphy Catholic High School in June of 1992.

Robert married Sarah Williams on September 21, 2004 in Los Angeles, California. From this union came two sons: Raymond A. Durant and Christopher M. Durant. Robert had a special bond and love for his children. He never missed a football game or any activity his boys were involved in. They were truly the apple of their father’s eye.

Robert enjoyed spending time this his family and friends and in particular, Alex – his cousin, confidant and friend. He loved attending church, driving, fishing, and working out. He loved cooking for his family and friends as well. He will always be remembered for his Bar-b-Ques with his signature rub in the orange bucket.

Among those who preceded him in death include his paternal grandfather Christopher Durant and maternal grandmother Delores Ferguson. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Dawn A. Ferguson and Robert Durant, his wife Sarah Williams-Durant, his sons Raymond and Christopher Durant, his sisters Quran, Christina, and Kaylen Durant and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
