Hiii everyone. I am his granddaughter. He sadly died 4 months before I was born, but I know how amazing he was and I could tell that he should’ve lived longer. Thank you so much everyone for the support! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

i new rod since 7th grade to working in the motion picture industry with him. he lived around the corner from me on galvin street, what a sweet guy.

Rod was such a special man who always had time for his family. He loved Thelma and his daughters so much. They were all the loves of his life. Although he left this earth too early, he will continue to be his families' guardian angel. May God Bless his soul and continue to Bless the Family. My deepest sympathy to you Thelma and the girls. RIP Rodney Bennett. Please feel free to call me anytime; you have my number. Love, Lisa Martinez (Phoenix, AZ)

I am so sad to hear of Rod's passing. My sincere and heartfelt prayers go out to the Bennett family.

Heartfelt prayers and love to the Bennett family. It's been many years since I've seen Rodney...and I am sorry to hear about his illness and the Bennett's loss. I have many fond childhood memories of our families (Bennett's, Brophy's, Clark's plus some) camping and water skiing, working and playing together... Rest In Peace Rod.

My prayers and deepest sympathy to Rod's family. I met Rod in the 6th grade and we were friends throughout high school. I have many fond memories of surfing Toes beach and riding our motorcycles in the Baldwin Hills together. Rest in Peace my friend.

All I can say Rod is that you left us way to soon...I will always remember the times we used to ride dirt bikes together and the crazy stuff you, Broph and I used to do under the influence of the infamous "Red Mountain Friday Nites." Crazy fun times with you. I wish we had one more time to get together and laugh. Watch over your family and friends and say hi to the Brophy for me. I'll see ya when I do!

Bless you, Rod. last time I saw you, a couple of years ago, you looked like Gandalf, which I thought was somehow appropriate, since you were so loved and respected way back n school. I'm just glad I got back to California in time to see you again, and have you tell me about your love for Thelma and your daughters. <3

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Bennett family at this most sorrowful time. RIP Rod Bennett

I'm very very sorry for this sad and tragic loss..My prayers are with Rod's family and friends!!
I truly believe that Rod is now his family's Guardian Angel...He is watching over his friends, as well..
God Bless!!

Rest in Peace Rod Bennett, you will be missed!

Sigh... just heard... so very sad. Rod you were always a great guy. It was so good to see you and spend all that time talking with you at Mike Brophy's Funeral & Memorial in 2007... Time is so short... Rest... always your friend, Jazz McGee

Rodney I am really going to miss you driving me around on a show. We had so many laughs over the years. Seeing you at the car show. I remember our last conversation walking down culver blvd. just about a year ago we were going in opposite directions but we stopped and did our ten minute catchup. I never knew you in school but you were friends with my cousin Billy, I always thought it was great knowing you for the past 30 years and talking culver city stuff when we would be far away from home on a movie. I will truly miss you. I only wished I knew you were sick I would have come by to see you. I will always remember you for your easy going manner, your kindness and your constant friendship.
I want to send my wishes of love and light to your girls and Thelma. May they get through the loss of you with ease.
Your friend always, Hope
