Rudy's Mother was my Dad's Sister.....She was my Aunt...thus
Rudy and Joe, Amelia, Yolanda and Maria where my 
Cousin"s.  They lived on Duquane in Culver City.  Joe, Rudy and I
used to play when we were kids starting in 1937....we were always together...went to Hamilton High school....then Joe's wedding to Helen Grimaldi...Rudy had a Daughter that lived
In San Francisco.....never met her....Then I got married and then
we drifted apart and Lost contact with Rudy and only saw Joe
once in a blue moon when he lived in the Mobil Homes  in 
Huntington each.....then I lost contact with Joe too.....I used to
talk to Marie once in a while but then she changed her phone #
and I lost contact with her also......I feel so bad to hear that Rudy passed away.....he was only one year younger than me......But 
that is what happens in family's......they drift apart.....it's like 
dropping a pebble into a calm water pond and seeing the ripples
floating away from center....representing the original family.....

A thrill would come across my heart when I would hear my Uncle Rudy was coming for a visit.  
He happen to be my playmate, my story teller, and the  man who listened to me .... he always took me for a walk and would ask me questions on how I was doing ..  when we would go to restaurants  with the family, he would play games with me to keep me entertained .. my favorite one ..was with a napkin, a penny,  and believe  it or not a cigarette ... he would cover the top of a glass with a napkin .. put a penny on top of the napkin .. and we would take turns  burning holes in the napkin with the cigarette ... who would cause the penny to drop first. 
I Loved him !! He always made me feel loved and special.  He had such a  loud and boisterous laugh! He was the party!! 
Thank God for that man ! My childhood was very rough. In such a harsh world that man brought me such joy !!!! 
   
          THAT WAS MY UNCLE RUDY!!!

 .. I'm sorry to say the last time I saw him was when I was 12 years old ... but I can tell you, NEVER will I forget that man ... 
That man made an inpact on a little girl that needed him

I have so many wonderful memories of my Uncle Rudy. Dozens of Italian meals with him my mom and Grandma. Spending hours at the table ,drinking wine, and telling stories. Uncle Rudy teaching me to drive my moms Mercedes at 15(hehe) and swimming in the pool with my daughters.  I was always excited when he and Lisa came into town to visit. I knew it would be an Italian evening filled with lots of Italian words being spoken. He will be missed but the love and memories will forever stay in my heart.  

I have so many fond memories of Rudy and I growing as young kids in Culver City.Love of cars is one of them.He with his 36 Ford convertible & my 31 Chevy roadster, rumble sea & all!
We met & became close friends when we both started  working at the Meralta Theater, (sadly long gone)
   In 1950  we both joined the AF, after BASIC training we ended up at different bases.About a year later we got together again.There were good times, a lot of fond  memories & a lot of heartbreak.              
My best friend is gone now but he  will never,ever be forgotten.

I am so blessed with the gift from God to be part of your life and  to share my life with you. 
You are the love of my life my darling and I will always love you! 
And I know you love me too.  

Our kitty Kat is gone too ..
 She gave us so much love and joy ...
She was truly a gift from God! 
You were both gone 3 weeks apart but your presence and your love will sustain my broken heart.

I've always felt close to my uncle Rudy I can remember living in San Fernando Valley and him coming over and visiting us in one particular time was Easter and he brought us all an Easter basket it was really from his heart that he loved all of us Uncle Rudy is my godfather and he will definitely be missed even though I haven't seen him for a while I love you Uncle Rudy you will always be in my heart

I have many fond childhood memories of  Uncle Rudy. May he RIP. 
My condolences to my aunt Lisa. He was a lucky man to have been blessed with you.

One of my fondest memories of my Uncle Rudy was. .. that he started me on to my love of music.  For around my 10th Birthday he gave me a music cassette player, I loved it,  I love my Uncle, he will me missed! 💙

Rudy was my grandpa taught me how to drive a stick shift car on the streets of LA. When I was about eleven! Yes I realize now this was probably not the best idea at the time, however my first car was a stick shift so I’m happy I already knew how to drive one!
