Maria Victoria Raymundo Caruncho, also known as "Victoria" or "Marivic," passed away in Los Angeles on Aug 27, 2020 and entered into the presence of the Lord. She valued education and philanthropy, sponsoring scholars in Rizal Technological University and empowering marginalized communities in her hometown of Pasig, Philippines. She was a successful businesswoman, running Pasig Queens Court Motel and developing residential and commercial buildings. When not working, she spent her time volunteering at her children's schools and extracurricular groups in Los Angeles.
Marivic gave her heart to her family and friends through kind, compassionate, and loyal acts. She loved dancing and singing, reflective of her vibrant and eclectic spirit. She also loved travelling abroad and sharing that passion with others - she saw the world and ensured everyone around her had those same opportunities.
Marivic is predeceased by her father Emiliano Caruncho, mother Aurora Caruncho, and sister Aurora "Inday" Espiritu.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Soriano; her children: Iyo Christian, Ida Claire, Ina Mikaella, Irina Francesca, and Isha Enrica; her son-in-law, Sheldon Alcudia; her grandchildren: Nicole, Hans, Sky, Isis, Tylo, Vigo, Ciel, and Oria; her siblings: Emiliano III, Rebecca "Vicky," and Emilia "Emily"; several other in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Marivic's unique, lively, and dazzling presence will be sorely missed by her family, Pasig Queens Court and I Realty Co., her scholars at Rizal Technological University, her classmates, and her friends.
