It was my great pleasure to work with bill for 5 years at cedars Sinai medical center in the late 1990’s . He was a true professional as well as a fine human being.  I also enjoyed playing golf with bill at riviera county club and other golf courses. He was a gem and is truly missed by many. Dan Fahey

Bill Weil was one in a million.... what a fabulous guy.  Always willing to stop what he was doing and tend to the health of others.  I have many fond memories of him.  Bill and I both were very passionate about THE Ohio State University.  I was a professor there and he had his medical degree from OSU.  I surprised him with red and white golf shoes with the OSU logo and a Brutus Buckeye head cover.  When OSU folks would visit such as two time Heisman trophy winner Archie Griffin, we'd play golf at Riviera with Bill and he would dress for the occasion.  Bill also rushed to the hospital when I was very ill.  What a guy!  When I married, my husband ,Tom Welker, became close to Bill.  Tom found Bill exceptional and we enjoyed his talented son, Patrick.  We LOVE you Bill!  YOU will remain in our hearts. Linda Meeks and Tom Welker

Sweet William was one of my favorite friends and a great friend of my late husband.   He will be dearly missed.

Dr. Weil chaired our CA Health Policy, Data Advisory Commission for years, always concerned for patient care and family of patients.  He was an honorable and wonderful man, and we’ll miss him terribly.  Sending love to Patrick, his son, his caregiver, as well as Brandon, his youngest son.  Warm hugs, Jacquie
