Born on June 3, 1947 in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Andrew and Blanche (Savoie) LeClair. Besides his parents he was predeceased by nephew, Drew LeClair.
Bruce is survived by his siblings - Gladys Carignan of Laval, Sister Jean of Riverview, Ralph of Dalhousie, Bob (Annette Poirier) of Charlo, Marielle of Calgary, and Bill (Carol Reid) of Newmarket; nieces - Susan Carignan, Christine Cormier, Carol Murray, Tracy LeClair and Krista LeClair; nephews - Eric LeClair and Dean Leclerc; and many great nieces and nephews.
Bruce worked as a Pipe fitter at the Pulp and Paper mill in Dalhousie until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan - whether playing hockey or watching it on TV. Bruce enjoyed spending his spare time at his camp, hunting and fishing. He treasured quality time making memories with family and friends. His presence will be greatly missed by both.
The family wish to extend special thanks to Larry Wood, Jimmy Guitard and Marguerite Comeau for their support and friendship throughout the years.
In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the the St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Darlington on Monday June 5th, 2023 at 11am.
