Frances was born December 31, 1932 in Dalhousie, New Brunswick to the late William and Marion Phillips. She was the youngest of three children, two preceded her in death (Marion and Anna).
Frances was married to the late Alcide Fournier in 1954 and 2 children were born of this union.
Frances loved spending time with family, telling stories of “the old days”, laughing and always wearing a smile upon her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. To know her was to love her. She was vibrant, sassy, fun, and always lit up the room when she entered it. Her laugh was infectious. In short, she was a brightly burning force—and we shall miss her flame forever.
Frances leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter Margaret (Peggy) Corrigan, son-in-law Gilbert Corrigan, daughter-in-law Sharon (Brennan) Fournier, Granddaughters Erin Corrigan, Angela Fournier, and Courtney Fournier, as well as great granddaughter Alice Corrigan Coffin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her son Louis Fournier, and grandson Matthew Corrigan.
