Jean-Baptiste Rodolphe Roy

Est décédé près d’Island Lake, le 5 août 2014 à l’âge de 71 ans, Monsieur Jean-Baptiste Rodolphe Roy, conjoint Michelle McMullen de Dalhousie. Née à Jacquet River le 8 juillet 1943, fils de Violette Roy et de feu Henry Roy.

Il était membre du Club Lions de Dalhousie, président du Club VTT 2000, volontaire pour le festival Bonne Ami et pour plusieurs autres organisations.

Outre sa mère, Violet, il laisse dans le deuil sa conjointe, Michelle McMullen Roy ; sa fille, Constance Roy (Daniel) de Sunrise, FL ; ses frères, Florian de Vancouver, C.-B., Judes (Nicole) de Côte St-Luc, CB ; ses sœurs, Celeste de Côte St-Luc, QC, Auryse Lacroix de Oakville, ON, ainsi que par 2 petits-enfants, Anouk et Mélodie. Il est prédécédé par un fils, David.

Les funérailles auront lieu à l’Église St-Jean Baptiste, Dalhousie, lundi à 2h00.

Visites au salon funéraire Maher, 421 rue Victoria, Dalhousie, dimanche de 14:00 à 16:00 et de 19:00 à 21:00. Ainsi que lundi 1h avant les funérailles à l’église.

Des dons à la fondation des maladies du cœur seraient appréciés par la famille.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés aux soins du Salon Funéraire Maher de Dalhousie.

Passed away near Island Lake on August 5, 2014 at the age of 71, Mr. Jean-Baptiste Rodolphe Roy, common-law husband of Michelle McMullen of Dalhousie. Born in Jacquet River on July 8, 1943, son of Violette Roy and the late Henry Roy.

He was a member of the Lions Club in Dalhousie, the president of the VTT Club 2000, a volunteer for the Bonne Ami f

festival and for many other different organizations.

Besides his mother, Violet, he is survived by his common law wife, Michelle McMullen Roy; his daughter, Constance Roy (Daniel) of Sunrise, Florida; his brothers, Florian of Vancouver, BC, Judes (Nicole) of Côte St-Luc, QC; his sisters, Celeste of Côte St-Luc, QC, Auryse Lacroix of Oakville, ON and 2 grandchild, Anouk and Mélodie. He was predecease by a son, David.

The funeral mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Dalhousie, on Monday at 2:00 pm.

Visitations at Maher’s Funeral Home, 421 Victoria Street, Dalhousie, on Sunday from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm, and Monday one hour before the service at the Church.

Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
