He leaves to mourn his wife of 40 years Trisha (Duplessis) Girard, his son Paul of Campbellton NB, daughter Nathalie (Sean) of Saint John NB, grandson Corey, granddaughter Hannah of St. John NB, his brothers André (Pierette), Claude (Georgette), Gilles (Pauline), his sisters Monique (Roger), Nicole (Levis), Julie (Charles), as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Denis.
The funeral mass will be held from the St. John Baptist Church Dalhousie on Saturday January 28th at 11am. Father Romeo Morrison officiating. Pallbearers are Claude, Gilles, Roger and Henry. Interment at the Parish Cemetery this spring.
