Ken was the son of the late Watson and Lillian (Vincent) Laakso of Charlo.
He is survived by his three daughters Anne, Linda and Elayne, sisters Daphne and Tracy, brother Dwayne, and three grandchildren Amanda, Elise and Julian.
Dad, you never ever complained. You fought a battle that you could not win. You were so brave. God saw you getting weary and a cure was not to be. He put His arms around you, and whispered: Come to Me.
Ken will be celebrated at the United Church in Dalhousie at 11:00 am on Saturday October 6, 2012.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
