Né à Dalhousie le 27 Mai 1927, fils de feu Edmond Heppell et de feu Hélène (Leblanc) Heppell.
Il a travaillé come débardeur au moulin.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Rina (Doiron) Heppell; ses garçons Richard (Lorette) de Charlo, Jacques (Trisha) de Dalhousie, Daniel (Annie) de Montréal, Gilles (Lynn) de Saint Jean, NB, Ronald (Marion) de Charlo; et les enfants de Rina, Michel (Ann-Marie) de Campbellton et Diane de Dalhousie; ses petits-enfants Jonathan, Ryan, Nathaniel, Chantale, Lisa, Mathieu, René, Véronique, Karl, Jennifer, Kevin, Trisha et Gina, ainsi les arrière-petits-enfants Logan, Rowan, Thomas, Alora, Kaius, Daphnée, Liam, Marisol, Alexa et Marcus. Outre ses parents il était prédécédé par son fils Normand.
Les funérailles auront lieu à l’Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Dalhousie, Vendredi Mai le 17, 2019 à 14 h00.
Des dons à l'arbre de l'espoir ou la fondation des maladies du coeur et de l'AVC seraient appréciés par la famille.
Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés aux soins du Salon Funéraire Maher de Dalhousie.

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on May 13, 2019 at the age of 91, Mr. Léo J Heppell of Dalhousie, husband of Rina (Doiron) Heppell.
Born in Charlo on May 27, 1927, son of the late Edmond Heppell and the late Helene (Leblanc) Heppell.
He worked as a Longshoreman at the mill.
He is survived by his wife Rina, his sons Richard (Lorette) of Charlo, Jacques (Trisha) of Dalhousie, Daniel (Annie) of Montreal, Gilles (Lynn) of Saint John, Ronald (Marion) of Charlo and Rina's children Michel (Ann-Marie) of Campbellton and Diane of Dalhousie. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jonathan, Ryan, Nathaniel, Chantale, Lisa, Mathieu, René, Véronique, Karl, Jennifer, Kevin, Trisha, Gina and Great-Grand-Children Logan, Rowan, Thomas, Alora, Kaius, Daphnée, Liam, Marisol Alexa and Marcus. Beside his parents he was predeceased by his son Normand.
Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, Dalhousie, on Friday, 17th of May, 2019 at 2 pm.
Donations to Tree of Hope or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
