Born in Sainte-Claire, QC May 5th, 1945, son of the late Michel Labbé and the late Marie-Anne Hamel.
He worked at several mines for most of his life and was working at Williams Gold Mine at the time of his retirement. He enjoyed playing music and was an avid Montreal Canadiens Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Labbé, his sons Richard, Michael and Yvon, and step-sons Jason Darling and William (Joey) Darling; two brothers, Claude from Trois-Rivières, QC, and André from Moretown, ON and one sister, Pauline Robert of Chatham, ON; his grandchildren, Chantal, Brandon, Matthew, Alicia, Samantha, Savannah, Drake, Demitri, Owen, Xander, Jacob, Maddix and Marsaya, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or service.
Donations to a charity of the Donor’s Choice would be appreciated by the family.
