Bernice is survived by her children, Kenneth Putnam, Sharon Loafman and husband, Christopher, Yvonne Courtemanche and husband, Steven; step children, Patsy McAbee and Joe Putnam; eleven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Putnam, brother, Bob Murphy and granddaughter, Kimberly Putnam.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Gastonia. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Dallas Funeral Home.
