She was preceded in passing by her parents, Everette and Margie Friday Aderholdt and her beloved cats, Salem and Spats.
She is survived by many cousins, friends and her caregiver, Cody at Belaire Health Care.
Susan graduated from North Gaston High School, Gaston College and Belmont Abbey College. She was employed by the Gaston County Library system and retired after 35 years. Susan was a member of Saint Marks Lutheran Church in Cherryville where she was a former member of the church council and actively involved until her health no longer allowed.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Saint Marks Lutheran Church, 1203 St. Marks Church Road, Cherryville, NC 28021. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm and the burial will follow in the church cemetery.
