Willie Pauline Cable

Dear God… I am thankful for the heritage of my past, for the blessings of my present and for the glory awaiting me. These are the words of Willie Pauline Cable, age 88 who passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Willie greatly loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She also was a daily reader of her Bible. She was the daughter of the late Harley Pace and Myrtle Sawyer Pace. Willie is preceded in death by her husband Colan Cable, two sisters and four brothers.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her daughter Darlene Ford of Sharon, South Carolina; two sisters: Margaret Autrey of Aberdeen, North Carolina and Emma Jean Allison of Marion, North Carolina; one brother: Harold Pace of Marion, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Celebrating the life of Willie Cable will be at the Dallas Funeral Home 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 with Rev. Jerry Millwood to officiate. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia. Pallbearers are John Lay, Chris Cable, Mike Teague, Zach Carroll, Larry Carroll and Drake Wall.

Willie’s family will receive friends from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM Monday evening July 20, 2015 at Dallas Funeral Home, Dallas, North Carolina.
