Alfred Carr Jr.

Alfred Carr, Jr was born on March 10, 1945 in Dallas, TX. Alfred was the oldest of three born to Estella Mae Jones and Alfred Carr, Sr. Alfred served in the Vietnam War. Receiving honorable metals for recognition. He also retired from DISD after 35 years of service. On February 4th, 2022 heavens gates opened up for one of God’s precious children. Alfred Carr, Jr is preceded in death by his mother Estella Mae Jones, father Alfred Carr, Sr., and brother Frank Glenn Carr.

He loved a wide variety of music. He loved telling jokes. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and golfing. He had a passion for tinkering with anything. His board game of choice was Monopoly. Alfred will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children; Alfred Carr lll (Sharon) of Perris, CA., Symonia Carr of Ft. Worth, TX, Dwight Carr (Angelene) of Midland, TX, Terrion Rodgers and Alfred Carr Rodgers of Lubbock, TX and Erica Carr of Little Elm, TX. Grandchildren: Tremaine Carr, Jacque Carr, Jasmine Carr, Ryan Carr, Jordan Carr, LaToya Miller, Cassandra Brown, Dwight Carr Jr, Darryl Carr, Stephion Williams, Stephionee Williams, Adarian Cleaver, D’Waylin Cleaver, Jaylin Williams, D’Aviaunce Edwards, Corey Edwards Jr. and 11 great grandchildren. Five sisters; Dorothy, Stephanie, Ann Ray and Sherella. One brother: David. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
