The character of my mother revealed the spirit of a woman who knew meekness as her strength, sought first to understand, forgave as she expected to be forgiven, quick to apologize, encouraged wherever needed, took pleasure in giving, insisted on cleanliness,  navigated her life with dignity and shared her best while striving silently to improve, and finally spent all of her God given days devoted to becoming more like Christ.

I remember when I called Cozea on Thursday evening to see if he could cook mom some catfish and he said "Yes, of course".  He took it to her to eat and she said "I really want some Popeyes Chicken".  This is so like my mother.  LOL
