Barbara Ann Burch passed away peacefully in Rhode Island on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Richard W. Burch, Jr., Barbara is survived by three children, Rick Burch, Rebecca Melton, Britt Burch, their spouses, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Always a proud Texan, Barbara moved to Rhode Island in 2020 to be closer to family. She loved sports, dancing, spending time with her family and an occasional trip to the casino! Barbara was an avid tennis player until she reached her ‘80’s. She loved to tell stories of teaching her grandchildren how to play.
Barbara was always the life of the party. Loved by all those lucky enough to know her, Barbara will be dearly missed by family and friends.
