Betty K. Strong was born July 9, 1921 in Dallas, TX, and passed away on February 15, 2014. She graduated from Forrest High School in Dallas, TX. She enjoyed needle point and also listening to her audio books. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward James Strong in 1998. Betty is survived by her son Johnny Strong and his wife Nell, two grandsons Christopher Edward Strong and wife Tricia and Michael Grady Strong; three great grandchildren Haley Elizabeth Strong, Coleton Strong, and Garrett Strong; niece Sharon Denny and husband Jim, and special friends Deborah, Dameon, and Betty. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 12 noon at Grove Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
