BILL R. CARTER, 81, died at home in Dallas, TX February 27, 2012. He is survived by two sons, Casey Carter of Pearland and Jim Frazier of Dallas; daughter, Francine Carter Sanchez of Madrid; seven grandsons; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Happy Carter, and son, John Patrick Carter. Bill grew up in Lubbock, TX, He earned a Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1951, and was stationed in France during the Korean War, where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He earned a Medical Degree from Southwestern Medical School and spent his career as a family practitioner in the Dallas area. A memorial service will be held at Believers Chapel, 6420 Churchill Way, Dallas, Texas 75230, at 1:00pm Saturday, March 10th.
