

in Teague, Texas. He was surrounded by his Wife, Son and Daughter-in-law.
Bill was born in Dallas, Texas on January 28, 1928 to his parents Martha B. Craig Conner and
Nathaniel Parkinson Conner. He grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson
High School. Bill was drafted in 1950 by the Army and served his country until 1952 when he
was honorably discharged. Shortly after that, he married Mary Cordelia Anderson. They had
two children, Vicki Lynn Ingram and Mark Steven Conner. Mary Conner passed away in
December of 1985.
After serving in the Army, Bill became a telephone man. He worked for Southwestern Bell for 47
years. In 1990, Bill married the love of his life, Judy Roden Conner and they traveled the world.
Bill loved sports and coached boy’s soccer for many years. He could fix anything, and repaired
the roof on his home at age 80. Bill was a good provider and role model for all who knew him.
He was a fine example of what a good husband, father and friend looks like. Bill was an
American Patriot who loved his country, family and the lord.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Conner, Daughter Vicki Ingram and Spouse Frank Ingram, his
Son Mark Conner and Spouse Angie Conner, Grandson Doug Ingram and Spouse Abby Ingram
and Greatgrands Eisley, Addy and Amos, Granddaughter Grace Moore and Spouse Mike Moore
and Greatgrands Ervin and Rowan, Granddaughter Tabitha James, Granddaughter Candi Taylor
and Spouse Brett Taylor, Great grands Ayden and Gage.
He will be dearly missed.
