A poem written by Preston Day, for his Great-Grandmother:
Grandmother, oh, Grandmother,
A divine lady is she,
If grace ages with time,
time is amongst thee.
Grandmother is a special lady,
That is most certain,
If anyone were to hurt her,
I'd make sure the were a hurtin'.
Elegant, thoughtful, pure,
Few of infinite words,
That describe her,
For sure.
Thankfully I know her,
Thankfully she knows me,
Grandmother is a treasure,
Because thine beauty shed upon me.
