Sue was married to her husband Vernon for 47 years. She was the mother to 4, grandmother to 2 and great grandmother to 2.
She is survived by her grandson Benson Kelly, wife Ashley Kelly, great grandson Darren Kelly, granddaughter Summer Kelly, great grandson Cameron Naylor, Daughters Sandy Kelly and Martha Kelly.
Sue was a friend to many, loved traveling, dancing to her favorite Elvis songs and spending time with her loved ones. In her quiet time you’d find her reading books or eating cookies on the veranda.
Sue spent her professional life working for the Wall Street Journal and then later transitioned to the role of a victims advocate for the Dallas Police Department.

Funeral Services Thursday August 1st , 2024 at 11 am Sparkman Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218. Burial to follow after ceremony at Grove Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Tx 75228.
