Bridget Feeney Serrano

Bridget Josephine Feeney Serrano, 84 of Dallas, Texas passed peacefully on March 24, 2025. She is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Bridget was born November 3, 1940, in Kilmacannon, Cloughboley, Silgo County, Ireland

Bridget was the beloved daughter of Michael and Bridget Feeney. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary, Anne, John and Michael. She is survived by brothers Martin Feeney and Tom Feeney and wife Susan and sister Margaret. Also, numerous nephews and nieces will continue to honor her legacy of kindness and love.

Bridget met the love of her life, Peter Alphonso Serrano, in Glasgow, Scotland in 1964, while Peter was serving in the U.S. Navy. They were married on May 29, 1965, in Topeka, Kansas and together they shared 59 wonderful years. They were members of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. Bridget loved the Lord with all her heart.

Bridget was a loving homemaker. Their home was always warm and welcoming, filled with the joy of numerous beloved dogs and cats over the years. They thoroughly enjoyed taking care of animals together. Bridget’s life was one of love and devotion, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of The Villages of Dallas, 1 Jones Unit, for their compassionate care and support. As well as Calvary Hill Funeral Home and the DFW National Cemetery.

A visitation for Bridget will be held April 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Main Mausoleum North Chapel, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220. A committal service will follow at 2:00 PM at Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211.
