Beloved daughter, wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and godmother, Carmen Ibarra went to her eternal home on September 14, 2025. She was born on December 18, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, to Emiliano and Juana Rodriguez. Carmen shared a beautiful marriage with her husband, Juan Ibarra, for thirty-six years.
Carmen’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and proudly cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, whether taking trips to Walmart, planting her favorite calla lilies, or filling her home with the sweet aroma of her homemade cakes. Carmen was an exceptional baker and poured her love into every cake she made for holidays, birthdays, and special occasions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emiliano and Juana Rodriguez and her brothers, Emmett, Santos, Luis, and Alberto Rodriguez. She is survived by her sister, Sophia Hernandez, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish her memory.
Carmen will forever be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous soul. Though her absence leaves a deep void, her family and friends find comfort in knowing she is at peace and finally home.
