

Charles Newton Loller, 87 years old (nearly 88), passed away on December 28,2021, in La Verkin, Utah were he lived for nearly three years. Prior to that, he lived in Desoto, Texas, for about 55 years.
Charles was born on January 23,1934, in Paducah, Texas, to Jesse and Jewell Pace. He was the fifth oldest of eleven children. He married Viola Mae Paschal on July 2,1954. They were married 63 years. He was very supportive throughout her illness until she passed away four years ago.
He enjoyed gardening, doing his own home repairs and repairing lawn equipment for others, reading western books, word search puzzles and spending time with his family - especially the grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He retired in 1996 after many years of short and long-haul truck driving. He worked for Arkansas Best Freight for over 23 years.
Charles was a loving husband, father grandfather and great- grandfather. He is survived by his two daughters, Phyllis Kuhre (John) and Cherry Johnson (Rory); six grandchildren, April de Souza (Cleber), Jeremy Kuhre (Melody), Brandon Kuhre (Jessica), Nathan Johnson (Brooklyn), Dana Johnson, and Holly Johnson; seven great- grandchildren, Seth Abel, Carter Kuhre, Logan Kuhre, Harley Richards, Madelyn Kuhre, Zoe Kuhre, and Porter Johnson; and one sister, Jane Daniels.
Funeral services for Charles, are scheduled on Saturday, January 22,2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 S.R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas. There will be a viewing for family and friends at 9:20 a.m. Burial will follow the service.
