

Passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on June 23, 2011. Born on July 23, 1966 in Durant, Oklahoma to C. Talmadge and Donna Simmons Sweeney. Survived by husband, Thomas O. Mullins, her children, Austin David Mullins, Staley Ann Mullins, and Jack Ivan Mullins, mother, Donna Marie Howard, brother David Ty Sweeney, and nephew Zachary Nathaniel Sweeney. Also survived by her “second mom” Delia Staley Crossley and many other loving family members. Preceeded in death by her father, C. Talmadge Sweeney and brother, Morgan Zack Sweeney. Dana graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Oklahoma in 1989. She began her career in retail working for Lancome in college and became an account executive for them in East Texas/ Louisiana / Mississippi. Dana moved to Dallas and was employed by Neiman Marcus Downtown and quickly advanced to various executive positions in the company. In 2003, Dana accepted her dream job from Mr. Raymond Nasher to create, design, buy and manage the Nasher Sculpture Center store. Dana’s creativity and vision set a new standard for museum stores around the world. Mr. Nasher’s faith in her vision led to a successful partnership that will become her legacy. Dana and her family will be eternally grateful for the support of Ray Nasher, his family and all the staff of the Nasher Sculpture Center. Dana will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious humor, gorgeous presence and passion for life and the ones she loved. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home at 7405 West Northwest Highway. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at St. Michael’s and All Angels Church at 8011 Douglas Ave. Dallas Texas 75225.
