Mr. Darnell Young was born in Prescott, Arkansas on October 26, 1952 to the parentage of Otis and Varrie Young. He was a retired welder and enjoyed playing dominoes, watching westerns, football, and spending time with family. He departed this life on March 21, 2021 in Irving, Texas.
Among those awaiting Darnell Young in Heaven are his parents Otis and Varrie Young, his sister Darlene James, and his son-in-law Craig Lamont Shaw.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Tiwanda Shaw of Grand Prairie, Texas; his two brothers Odell Young, of Lexington, Kentucky and Benny Rae Young of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his four sisters, Lois Jean Elmore of Irving, Texas, Nannie Mae Williams, Hattie Marie Young and Annette Young all of Kansas City, Missouri; his two grand children D’Andrea Nicole Shaw and Christopher Craig Shaw both of Grand Prairie, Texas; one great-grandchild, Ziyen Craig Shaw of Grand Prairie, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
