

David Lee Ledbetter, age 75 of Garland, passed away on November 16, 2015. He was born on July 29, 1940 in Chewalla, Tennessee, the son of Thomas Lee and Eva O. (Hamilton) Ledbetter. David married Cherry Crook Wadley on May 1, 1970 and she survives.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his two daughters Donna Luttrell and husband Dale and Windy Wadley Harris; grandchildren Haley McDonald and husband Bryan, Shayna Horn, Alec and Dale Harris; great grandchildren Jayden and Audrina McDonald and Tatum Honeycutt; sisters Ann Halbert and Jane Riner. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by a sister, Betty King.
In his spare time, David enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, watching football and reading. In his later years, David devoted his life to the Lord and sharing the message with everyone he knew and also became an ordained minister. He also had a talent for collecting old bikes and parts to refurbish them to donate to less fortunate children. David’s greatest joy in life was his family, where he was a devoted husband and a dedicated father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 6-9PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, November 21, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
