David Walter Marks

David Walter Marks, 61, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2016 in Sunnyvale, TX. David was born on September 6, 1954 in Williamsport, PA to parents Lois and Raymond Marks. David graduated from Samuell High School in 1972. He was a truck driver for Eckerd for 21 years and worked for Auto Zone Distribution for the past year and a half. David enjoyed all types of racing. He loved to go to the dirt track and watch NASCAR on TV. He loved watching sports. He was a huge fan of the Texas Longhorns and also the Texas Rangers. He had a love/hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys on most days but never missed a game. David loved his country and was concerned about the direction it was headed. He is survived by his daughter Makiala Brown and husband Scotty of Scurry, Texas; his son David Marks and wife Sarah of Scurry, Texas; his sister Karen Schiller and husband Richard of Sunnyvale, Texas; five grandchildren, Makenzie, Brady, Brooklyn, Karlie and Rheagan, one great grandson Cade and two nephews, Michael and Richard. Anyone that knows David has heard him brag on his children, grandchildren and his nephews. He was so proud of them and made sure that everyone knew.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tony Marks.
