David Wayne McNeil, 70, of Dallas, Texas passed away on February 25, 2015. David was born in Dallas, Texas in June of 1944, to parents, Charles and Dorothy McNeil. David was a family man who loved Ham Radio, HamSphere, watching NASCAR, events with his family and spending time tinkering with gizmos, gadgets and electronics. He was very proud to be a Master Electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #20, as a 50 year member. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend will be dearly missed.
David is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jana McNeil; daughters, Rochon (Richard) Tugwell of Baton rouge, Louisiana, Teresa “Teddi” Tillery of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren; brother, S. Michael McNeil; sisters, Rita Stroud and Darlyn Chenault, Husband Harvey Chenault and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy McNeil.
The family will receive friends during a visitation at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11a.m. A funeral Service will be held at 12p.m. and interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
