

Reverend Dennis Dwaine Barnett born to the late Bennie Barnett and Eveline Nell Brown, brother to Dexter, sister Lorinda Joyce Barnett Houston, and nephew Christopher Barnett whom all preceded him in death.
He became an ordained servant while attending Full Gospel Holiness Church.
He graduated from Lincoln High School where his favorite subject was wood shop. He displayed superb craftmanship and was meticulous in everything he did. He was well known for his furniture, chimes, and walking canes. He was a designer of clothes and sketched portraits. He made 3-piece pantsuits for his sister and some of her teammates.
He was a licensed welder, worked in the mechanical field, and loved scrapping as a hobby.
He was blessed with playing musical instruments by ear. His most amazing performance as a group member was on The Gospel Jubilee on Channel 8. He captured many audiences playing the guitar, piano, organ, drums, dancing, and singing, as displayed at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
He was a chef and most importantly, he loved the Lord, his church, and the gospel.
In spite of his trials, tribulations, and challenges, he enjoyed life to the fullest. He had the God-given ability to speak with love when his stubbornness was at bay, listen with patience and compassion, acting with kindness, joy and happiness while in his right mind, during his days on this earth.

Siblings: Bennie Charles Barnett (Johnnie Mae), Danial Barnett (Claudine), Marletta Edom, Priscilla Akamafula (Claude), Maurice Barnett (Carol), and Shellia Dyehouse (David.) A loving host of nieces and nephews, including Hattie, LaDell, Sharhonda and LaRhonda, Rodney, Xandreya and Tonya, Danielle, Desiree, Courtney, Brittany, Kevin, Maurice Jr., Christian, Evelyn, and great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends. He was a wonderful father figure to his step-daughter, Monque Hill and had great admiration for Rachel’s grandchildren.
