Devaccus Hinton

Devaccus Montrell Hinton Sr. was born on March 16, 1992 in Monroe, Louisiana to Ms. Jessie McClinton and Russell Hinton. After moving to Texas, Devaccus planted roots in the DFW area and graduated from Seagoville High School where he was a star basketball player. After high school, Devaccus made his way into the work force, and was most recently a faithful employee of Keurig/Dr. Pepper for 6 years. He was also a loyal and loving father to his children. Devaccus accepted Christ into his life early on, and recently rededicated his life to Christ this year. He made his transition to be with his savior on July 1, 2022 in Dallas, Texas.

Devaccus is preceded in death by his grandfather Willie McClinton and his uncle E.L. Burnett. He is survived by his mother and father, Jessie McClinton and Russell Hinton, one brother Antonio “Tony” McClinton, four children – two sons (Avrian and Devaccus Jr.) and two daughters (Demi and Da’Kyla), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A visitation for Devaccus will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
