Diego Tomas De Valdenebro

He was born on September 27, 1950 in Bogotá, Colombia to Regina Saavedra Velasco and Manuel De Valdenebro Albán.

Diego was raised in Popayán, Colombia and graduated from the Universidad del Cauca in 1975 and received his MBA from the University of Dallas in 1996.

He married Patricia Grueso in 1972 and the couple had

four children.

He married Monica Rodriguez in 2019 and the couple had one child.

He had a long career as an Electronics Engineer and in Telecommunications. In his spare time Diego enjoyed listening to and playing music, dancing, reading, working with electronics, traveling and spending time with his family.

His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, distinguished and intelligent man who was eternally curious and loved learning about how things worked. Many will remember him for his brilliant mind and his vast knowledge.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his siblings Manuel, Enrique, Maria Eugenia, Maria Teresa, and Andres, his wife Monica, his children Paola, Andrea, Toni, Danny and their spouses, as well as his youngest child Andrew. He is also survived by his grandchildren Sophia, Sebastian, Alejandro, Luciana, and Henry.
