

He attended Thompson elementary school, Boude Story middle school, and graduated from Skyline high school. After high school, Don attended North Texas State University. Looking to travel the world, he joined the United States Air Force.
After a successful career in the armed forces, Donald joined the Dallas Fire and Rescue Department, May 1985 and served for 32 years until his retirement.
A man of many talents, Donald was also a trained Barber; who loved fishing, golf, telling jokes, pulling pranks, and making people laugh.
Donald accepted Christ at an early age at Jordan Baptist Church; he also attended Saint Luke United Methodist Church and Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church.
Don was preceded in death by his father Marshall Barree, his grandparents, Leroy Barree, Luther Jesse Evelyn Jesse. His Uncle Sornie Jessie, Aunts Faye, Ophelia, and Ethel. As well as cousins Victor and Elnondo, along with a host of other family members.
Don is survived by his loving wife Darlene Barree, his sons Bradley Barree, Everett Barree, Jason Greene, and one daughter Lotteice Greene. He is also survived by his mother Mary Barree, his grandmother Ophelia Barree, his twin brother Ronald Barree, sisters Carla and Sharlyn Barree. His grandchildren; Connor, Isabel Cameron, Emoni, Kaya, and Jason junior, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
