Donald M. Bruton 87, passed away October 13, 2010. A WWII veteran, Donald was a POW in Germany for 18 months. Former owner of Chevrolet Dealerships until his retirement, Donald also served on the DISD School Board in the early 1960's. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry Bruton; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Bruton; 2 sons, Ricky and Randy; 1 daughter, Donna; sister, Maxine Webb; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; numerous other family and a host of friends. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 Grove Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: Grove Hill Memorial Park.
