Dorothy Louise Bolton

Dorothy Louise Callaway Bolton of Rowlett, TX, born July 17, 1932 and passed into heaven on October 9, 2019, at the age of 87 years surrounded by her two loving daughters. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for over 33 years. Dorothy graduated from Rockdale High School and married the love of her life, Cleaburne C. Bolton (Shorty), together they had two daughters, Beverly Bolton James and Karen Bolton Mangrum. Dorothy attended Lake Pointe Baptist Church since 1996 where she helped to start a Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her daughters Beverly Bolton James and her husband Jud James of O’Fallon, Missouri and Karen Bolton Mangrum of Rowlett, Texas; her grandchildren Matt Starr and his wife Lauren of Whitesboro, Texas, Kari O’Dell and her husband Michael of Winter Garden, FL, Kayla Mangrum of Richardson, TX, Kyndel Mangrum of Tyler, Texas, Stacy Sherrard and her husband Kevin of Van, Texas; 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends from all over the world. She is preceded in death by her husband Cleaburne C. Bolton (Shorty), her parents, Oscar and Ella Callaway, sisters Mable McCoy, Bonnie Dyer, and Mary Emily Palermo and brothers Wesley Callaway, Sr., J. E. Callaway, Luther Callaway, Ollie Callaway, Roy Callaway, and Elbert Callaway. Her memorial service will be Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lake Pointe Baptist Church in Rockwall, Texas with Rev. Glenn Mangrum officiating.
