Dylan Eugene Kervin, beloved infant son of Michael and Cynthia Kervin and big brother, Austin, was born on June 25, 2021 with multiple health issues. His parents held him for the first and last time on August 27 (Feast day of St. Monica). He died in his mother's arms.
A Memorial Celebration will be held on September 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Midway Road. Service will be live streamed at www.youtube.com/c/stmonicacatholicchurch.
Dylan is preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Curtis Lee Holloway, and paternal grandfather, Daniel Eugene Kervin, Jr., and aunt Nancy Kervin. He is survived by maternal grandparents, Mark and Susan Holloway; aunt and uncle, Michelle and Barkley Sutton; and aunt Merry Margaret Holloway; paternal grandmother, Frances Kervin; aunt Lynne Kervin; aunt and uncle, David and Joanne Kervin; and numerous cousins.
A big thank you to Father Tymo of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church who baptized him on July 23.
The family would also like to thank doctors, nurses and staff, especially, Chaplain Jim Poole, at Medical City Children's Hospital of Dallas PICU for their relentless care of Dylan; and appreciate all the prayers, meals, donations, compassion and love extended to them.
