Earlie Mae davis is my grandmother whom I loved with all of my heart I remember when she use to break out the hot comb and press my hair

My memory of Earlie Mae Davis goes back to 1968. At that time, upon joining church at Greater New Zion Baptist, I remember that Earlie walked right up to me and introduced herself and invited me to become a part of the Woman’s Mission #2. At that time, my transportation was limited and Earlie committed to pick me up and carry me to the meeting on Monday nights and she did that for some time. Because  of this beautiful Christian lady, I became a part of a World Wide ministry that focused on mission. In addition, Early influenced me to become a part of the North Texas District Association of Churches as well as the Texas State Convention of Christian Workers. She was a role model for young Christian women and my life was made better because of her. Earlie Mae Davis will forever be in my heart and memory.

Sister Earlie Davis, a Christian woman in the army of the Lord will be truly missed.  May God help us to honor those like Sister Earlie Davis who have blessed us through their loving sacrifice of time, toil and tears.  And may he continue to bless our churches with women of value, virtue, and vision.

She was a very sweet lady. I remember years ago when I was a child she and my great aunt Murrell Bradford Harris were friends. They weren’t just regular friends they were phenomenal friends. During my great aunt’s decline in health, I remember receiving phone calls from Mrs. Davis to check on her. I so appreciated her calls and prayers. May she rest in eternal peace with our heavenly father who does all things well. From our family to your family we send love and condolences! Thank you for sharing her with us! The Bradford, Alexander and Clark Family. 

Sis. Davis You will be missed dearly. Your Smile radiant, your Heart Gentle and Kind.  When ALL God's Children get Together. What  A Time!! Rest in Paradise Sunshine. I'll meet you on the other Shore.
