Edd Evans of Dallas, TX passed away May 29, 2014. Born in Carrollton, TX, Edd was the only child of Edd Howard Evans, Sr, and Zanaida Jordan. A 1943 graduate of Carrollton High School, Edd enlisted in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. After an honorable discharge in 1946, Edd became a Deputy Sheriff, then went to work as a Police Officer in University Park, TX. He later sold Mack used trucks until 1967, then he switched to both new and used models before retiring after more than 50 years of Mack Truck Sales.
Edd is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Leslie Evans; daughters, Delinda Vanne Brightyn of Taos, NM and Jerri Doll and her husband Ken Doll; grandchildren, Dawn and spouse Tony Calvert, Lorri and spouse Gene Reyes; 3 great grandchildren; Morgan Calvert, Caleb Reyes and Gabriella Reyes.
