Eduardo was born in La Union, Philippines on August 12, 1949, to Maria & Dionisio Cortes. He graduated from Feati University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. Eduardo was married to Emilia on April 7, 1976; they were married 49 years.
Eduardo worked for the United States Postal Office for 23 years and also worked as a mechanic on the side . He enjoyed fixing cars and going to the casino. He was an active member of the Third Order of the Secular Franciscan Order.
Eduardo is preceded in death by mother and father Maria & Dionisio Cortes and two brothers Charles & Fred Cortes.
Eduardo is survived by his wife, Emilia, son Mark, daughter Christine, and only grandson Ean.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 6, 2025 from 4-8 pm with Rosary starting @ 5:45pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday January 7 @ 10am @ St. Pius X Catholic Church . Burial will be held on Wednesday January 7 at Sacred Heart Cemetery following the funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eduardo's memory may be made to Eduardo Cortes - Grove Hill Funeral Home.
