

Edward Tim Golman (Tim), husband, father, son, brother, uncle, born December 30, 1953 in Dallas, died May 27, 2016. Predeceased by parents Joe H. Golman and Frances Goodman Golman and brother Jon David Golman. Tim was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Tina Kavassilas Golman, daughter Jennifer (Mark) St. Pe’, and son Stephen Golman, sister Julie (Bob) Melendi, brother Josh Golman, sister-in-law Stephanie (Eric) Runyon, nieces Staci (Andrew) Duhan, Mandi and Jessica Golman, Amy (Chad) Eaton, Chelsea and Samantha Runyon, nephews Stephen (Kristina) Melendi, Mike Melendi and Alexander Golman, great-nephews Joseph and Grant Melendi and great-nieces Rell Sepulveda, Clara and Marlo Duhan.
Tim was a family man. He was a humble man. He was a hard-working businessman who always made time to give back to his community and his country. For many years, Tim was a proud member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, patrolling Texas waterways as well as a volunteer for the Jewish Family Service’s Meals on Wheels program.
Honorary pallbearers: Pete Hachtman, Waldon Adams, Walt Davis, Charley Johnson and Gabe Rosenthal.
Funeral services will be at noon, Monday, May 30, 2016, graveside at Shearith Israel Cemetery on Dolphin Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tim’s memory may be made to The Jewish Family Service of Dallas, 5402 Arapaho Rd, Dallas, TX 75248 or the Golman Family Fund of Congregation Shearith Israel, 9401 Douglas Ave., Dallas, TX 75225 or to the charity of your choice.
