

Born March 22, 1932 in St. Albans Vt., to father Edward Joseph Bowler and mother Catherine Grace Hackett Bowler. After a long battle with failing health, Betty, a lung cancer survivor, passed away at her home in Richardson, Texas where she had lived since 1966. Originally from Vermont she is survived by her brother Jim Bowler, and was Aunt Bet to Sue, Pete, Sandy, Jane and Paul. Married on May 2, 1953 to Francis J. Finnegan who preceded her in death on January 24, 1982. She moved to Texas where she was Vice President at Texas Federal Savings and Loan for many years. She was an early pioneer for women in interim construction lending. She was a proud member of the Texas Federal Lunch Bunch, and a member at All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas. She was a mother to Robert Sean Finnegan and Richard Thomas Finnegan, Mother in law to Glenda and Dara, Grandmother (Nanny) to Erin, Meagan, Ryan, Robbie, Riley and Keely, and Great Grandmother to Kallie, Madison and Hailey. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday September 27, 2012 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm, led by Deacon Tim Muldoon. Funeral Mass will be held Friday September 28, 2012 at 10am at Calvary Hill North Chapel, Rev. Billy Huete, S.J. Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Elizabeth B.
