Elouise was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished her family and found her greatest joy in time spent with those she loved. She lived most of her life in Duncanville, Texas, with her beloved husband, Louis Ham, before moving to Arlington a few years ago to be closer to her family. A proud Dallas sports fan, she never missed the chance to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars.
She also had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley, listening to his music often and proudly sharing stories of seeing him perform twice in her younger years. She loved sharing memories of going dancing and her time on a winning women’s bowling team, accomplishments she spoke of with pride and joy.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Ham; daughter-in-law, Kelly Ham; grandson, Elijah Corbin Ham; granddaughter, Camryn Ham; sister, Ouida Plimper; and brother, Alan Cookson.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Ham; her father, Vanie Wilson Stevens; her mother, Francis Faubion Stevens; her sister, Clotene Johnson; and her son, William Charles “Chuck” Moore.
