Esperanza Cervantes was born on 4/21/34 and passed on 1/28/17. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Angela Beltran (husband, Jesse) of Dallas and Graciela Duckworth (husband, John) of Jefferson City; two sisters Consuelo Cervantes of Dallas and Beatrice Macias of Los Angeles, California and an extended family and friends.
Esperanza was known to her family as Hopie. She grew up in the Barrio (in the Harwood and Payne Streets) and worked for many years in manufacturing positions for H. L. Hunt and Mailing Service. She was a loved mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Her visitation will be at 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home and a Rosary at 7pm.
A funeral service will be on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10am at the Sparkman Crane Chapel. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
