Esperanza Jimenez

Esperanza Jimenez, 70, of Dallas, Texas passed away on August 7, 2021 in Aubrey, Texas. Esperanza was born November 11, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Presciliano Rodriguez and Frances Garcia. Esperanza was raised in Dallas and attended Crozier Tech High School in 1968. She was a truly vibrant and beautiful soul, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and precious friend to all who knew her.

She married Guadalupe Jimenez in 1968 and the couple had five children. Esperanza was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to her oldies and watching novelas, Law and Order, Criminal Minds, and Chicago PD.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a Pelancho, Mama J and Grandma.

She is preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe JR.; parents, Presciliano and Frances Rodriguez; brothers Feliciano (Chano) and Presciliano (Dede), sister Maria Isabel (Chavela), her beloved daughter Sylvia and many other family members.

She is survived by her son John and wife Sylvia, Albert and wife Jessica, Selena and husband Luis, Guadalupe III and wife Cynthia, her sisters Martha & Dolores as well as thirteen grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Special thanks to the Vitas Hospice nurses Rosa, Alfred, Cheryl, Gayle, Marilyn, Nichole and her aid for the care they gave mom to the end.
