Faye Jordan, 89, passed away on January 24, 2019 at her home on Club Lake near Greenville, Texas. Visitation will be on Monday, January 28, 1:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas. Funeral services will follow immediately after the visitation.
Faye was born in Mabank, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. D.O. McKee on November 15, 1929. After graduating from Mabank High School, she attended North Texas State University. For many years, Faye worked as a secretary for General Motors in Dallas and later in Houston. She joined her husband in running their company, Jordan Distributors Inc., in the early 1970s until his death in 1993. After retirement, Faye became an avid golfer and traveler. She was also a very active member at Alto Lakes Country Club in New Mexico and Webb Hill Country Club near Greenville.
Faye is proceeded in death by her husband, Al Jordan, and four grandchildren, Rachel, William, Molly, and Christopher.
Faye is survived by her children and their spouses, Donna and Stan Boganwright, Shirley and Robert Diehl, and John and Risa Jordan, her brother, Charles McKee, grandchildren Kelly McConn, Erica Burton, and Emily Lewis, and great-grandchildren Blaine Lewis, Austin Lewis, Annie McConn, Catherine Faye McConn, and Jack McConn.
Pallbearers will be Jackson Jordan, Michael McConn, Brad Boganwright, Brian Rees, Pete Reggie, Les Ware.The family of Mrs. Jordan wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the caregivers, Cleo Crews and Debra Barron and to the hospice nurse, Revel Akin. Cleo and Debra truly became part of our family.
