Lawson, Frances Ray Boren, age 92, was born in Dallas, Texas on October 24, 1928. She passed away in Dallas on January 1, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Ray and Nettie Henager, daughter Dianna Foster, grand-daughter Karlissa Foster, and grandson Robbie Bayley.
She is survived by her daughter Bonita Hanson, 4 grand-daughters, 10 great-grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren, and many close friends and extended family.
Frances retired from Southwestern Bell and Children's Medical Center. She was an avid Square Dancer, she loved to read, and she volunteered at the Grand Prairie Tourism Center. She attended Crossroads of Life Assembly of God Church. She worked at the State Fair of Texas for 10 years, and was the voting judge in her precinct for many years. Frances was a genuine "Dallasite".
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 8th from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM. Both services will take place at Laurel Land Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the SPCA.
