Frances Mae Stewart was born on December 20, 1928 in Dallas, TX. She worked for the telephone company and then as a teacher but mostly loved being part of her church. She lived her life fully. She held a place in her heart for the beauty of cardinals. Every time you see a cardinal, think of mom. Frances leaves behind her son Rex and wife Lisa and her daughter Robin and husband Lloyd along with her sister and brother-in-law Ann and Thomas Lee Alston. She has numerous grandchildren Nathan, Nicole, Erin, Jarrett, and Jensen, niece Debra Reavis, and nephews Mike Easley and Jerry Easley. She has many other relatives including Will, Hanna, John Thomas, Kyle, Megan. She had more friends who loved her than grains of sand on a beautiful beach. She will be joining in Heaven her husband and Rex and Robin’s father George Stewart. She will also be with her first husband Carl Southern and their first baby Phyllis Ann Southern. Frances is rejoicing in her Heavenly reunion with her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and nephews. Our beautiful and loving mom, grandma, sissy, sister, and friend went to her Heavenly home on November 7, 2016. God, family, and friends were her top priorities in this life. She was always so loving and caring. We were all truly blessed to have known her and to have loved her. She will be missed by many. We all know when our day comes she will be waiting for us at the Pearly Gates with a big hug, smile, and a kiss – saying “Come on in, it’s lovely here!” Remember to watch for the cardinals.
